Olmstead Plan Listening Session

Artistic speech bubble that reads Make your voice heard.

This Listening Session has been rescheduled as the previous date conflicts with 2018 caucuses. New date is Monday, February 5th, from 7pm to 8:30 pm, at the Rochester Area Foundation Building, Rochester, MN. Please see Eventbrite website below to register.

The Arc Minnesota Southeast Region, in partnership with Self-Advocates of Minnesota and the Region 10 Quality Council, are hosting a listening session on behalf of the Olmstead Implementation Office (OIO). Please come and share your voice!

Minnesota’s Olmstead Plan envisions people with disabilities living, learning, working, and enjoying life in the most integrated setting of their choice. As another year of the plan’s implementation comes to a close, people with disabilities, their families, and the general public are invited to comment on the plan and the drafted amendments from state agencies.

The annual amendment process of the Olmstead Plan seeks public input from greater Minnesota, and the OIO is providing a variety of ways to comment.

If you are not able to attend the listening session, there is an online input form to make comments on specific topic areas, amendments and general comment on the Olmstead Plan website www.mn.gov/olmstead.

To familiarize yourself with the plan and the drafted amendments; or to find updates, and more information on the public input process:
